MBC ‘Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung 2’ (directed by Kwon Rak-hui, Choi Yun-yeong, Lee Jae-woo, Oh Ye-na, Yoon Dong-uk, Cho Ye-eun) will air its first episode on Sunday, October 11 at 9:10 PM. Boo Seungkwan, who actively served as the team manager for ‘Victory Wonder Dogs’ last season, will add strength to the journey toward founding the 8th professional club by taking on the new role of ‘PR Manager’ this season.

MBC ‘Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung 2’ captures the process of Coach Kim Yeon-koung and ‘Victory Wonder Dogs’ proving their potential as a professional team. Boo Seungkwan, who looks after the inside and outside of the team so that players and coaching staff can focus on training and matches, plans to play an even more active role to widely promote the Victory Wonder Dogs and increase the possibility of founding the club.

“It is an honor to be part of a program that received such great love again,” Boo Seungkwan said, expressing his feelings about joining Season 2. He then shared his determination as ‘PR Manager,’ saying, “Since there is an important gateway ahead to find a club owner to establish the club, I will promote the Victory Wonder Dogs with the utmost effort I can provide.”

Q. You are joining MBC ‘Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung 2’ following Season 1. How do you feel about joining once again? It is an honor to be able to join a program that received such great love last year again.

Q. This season, you have taken on the new role of ‘PR Manager’ for ‘Victory Wonder Dogs.’ How do you feel about becoming the PR Manager and what is your determination? ‘Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung 2’ has an important gateway where we must find an actual club owner to establish the club. (As PR Manager) I will try to promote ‘Victory Wonder Dogs’ with the utmost effort I can provide.

Q. While you cheered for and were with the Victory Wonder Dogs as a team manager in Season 1, your role has grown significantly as ‘PR Manager’ in Season 2. What is the biggest difference you felt directly on the field? In Season 1, I just cheered hard, but in Season 2, I thought and researched more about which parts I should contribute to for the establishment of the club. I think I tried to help the players, the coach, and the coaching staff so they could focus on training.

Q. You are working with Coach Kim Yeon-koung, who you have been with since Season 1, again in Season 2. How do you feel seeing Coach Kim Yeon-koung, who has become a ‘veteran coach’ from a ‘rookie coach,’ by her side? We became very close while working together in Season 1, and after the program ended, we became close enough to call each other 'noona' (older sister). However, since preparing for Season 2 again, I have called her 'Coach.' Even watching from the side, the way she sincerely does her best to lead the team was truly cool. Seeing her not missing even the detailed and small parts, I understood once again why she has been called a legend since her playing days.

Q. For the viewers waiting for the first broadcast, please provide the expectation points for MBC ‘Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung 2’ as chosen by ‘PR Manager Boo Seungkwan’ and a final word. It is a program that is hot, fierce, and cold, yet warm. If you want to feel the heat once more, I highly recommend you watch it.

Meanwhile, MBC ‘Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung 2,’ which captures the intense team narrative of ‘veteran coach’ Kim Yeon-koung, ‘Victory Wonder Dogs,’ and ‘PR Manager’ Boo Seungkwan within an unscripted competition, was produced with the support of the Korea Communications Commission and the KCA, and will air its first episode on Sunday, October 11 at 9:10 PM.
