Peruvian ARMY wearing a wedding veil holds 'symbolic wedding' ahead of BTS's first Lima performance
A fan named Fabiana wore a white veil and a small crown to symbolize her "marriage" to the seven members of BTS during their first concert in Peru. The concert, part of the 'ARIRANG' world tour, was held at Estadio San Marcos in Lima.
On the 7th (local time), when BTS's first performance in Peru was held, local media reported fan Fabiana wearing a white veil and a small crown while holding a bouquet outside the Estadio San Marcos in Lima. She prepared this outfit to signify her intention to have a symbolic wedding with the seven members. This day was both BTS's first performance in Peru and Jimin's birthday.
According to media reports, Fabiana said that upon hearing the news that BTS was coming to Peru, she thought, "I should get a wedding dress. I am marrying all seven of them." She intended to prepare a dress and seven rings—one for each member—but chose a comfortable outfit because she had to wait a long time for the concert. She explained that after obtaining fabric in the commercial district of Gamarra in Lima, she made the veil with the help of a seamstress. Mentioning that she rarely wears makeup, she laughed and said, "Since today is my wedding day, I did my makeup like this," adding, "I am so nervous because today is my wedding."
Fabiana's favorite member was Jimin. She said she initially liked V, but grew to like Jimin more after seeing how close V and Jimin are. She cited Jimin's good personality, his kindness to everyone, and his great dancing as reasons. She continued, "Actually, there are seven of them, but Jimin is my main husband," and joked to Jimin, "Get ready, we are getting married now."
BTS (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, Jung Kook) held their 'ARIRANG' world tour performance at Estadio San Marcos in Lima on the 7th. The Lima performances were scheduled for three times on the 7th, 9th, and 10th, and were all sold out early. As the members appeared on stage walking down a long runway around 8 PM, cheers erupted in the stadium. During the performance, which lasted about 3 hours, fans sang along to the songs.
During their first Peru performance, all seven members greeted fans in Spanish. Local media noted the members' greetings. Jung Kook greeted them with "Buenas noches Lima" and said, "I hope tonight is special," while Jimin said, "Lima, it took us so long to come. We will put on a wonderful performance." Jin, j-hope, and V also offered greetings in Spanish. During the performance period, the Surco District in Lima temporarily changed a street name to 'BTS Street,' and fans created a 'BTS Forest' at Machu Picchu and prepared South America's first BTS drone show. BTS will continue their performances at the same venue on the 9th and 10th.
