JK Fandom, a global fandom support platform by Fan Communications Global, announced that it will conduct fan voting for the '2026 Korea Hallyu Entertainment Awards' starting from noon on October 12.
The preliminary voting for the 2026 Korea Hallyu Entertainment Awards will be held in eight categories.
Hosted by the Korea Best Brand Association and organized by the Brand Value Research Institute, this awards ceremony is a global fan-participation awards project that determines winners solely based on fan voting results, rather than album sales, broadcast scores, or expert judging. Voting can be participated in through the applications of both JK Fandom and Rematch, and the votes from the two platforms will be combined and tallied.
The fan voting will be conducted in a total of 8 categories, including Actor Popularity Award (Male/Female), Trot Popularity Award (Male/Female), KPOP Idol Popularity Award (Male/Female), Rising Popularity Award, and Digital Music Popularity Award, with a total of 204 candidates including actors, idols, and trot singers listed.
Voting will proceed in two stages: preliminaries and finals. The preliminaries are from noon on October 12 to 3 PM on October 23, and the finals are from noon on October 26 to 2 PM on November 4. During both the preliminary and final periods, one free vote per day is provided per account.
The final first-place winner in each category will be confirmed for the official '2026 Korea Hallyu Entertainment Awards' win, and the ceremony will be held on November 29 at the Grand Conference Room, National Assembly Members’ Office Building. Along with this, integrated advertising in New York Times Square (broadcasting the award title and artist visuals) and a BNT media marketing package (exclusive articles for winners and global promotional marketing articles) will be provided.
Endo Tetsuya, CEO of Fan Communications Global, said, "We are pleased to conduct the fan voting for an awards ceremony where fans' votes lead directly to winning at JK Fandom," and added, "We look forward to high participation from fans around the world who support the same stars across borders."
The candidate lineup for each category can be checked on the JK Fandom app, and real-time voting status will be released through the integrated voting site.
