Kim Da-hyun to release self-composed song 'Love Found in Gwangyang' containing grandparents' love on the 8th

Kim Da-hyun is embarking on new activities with a self-composed song that contains the real-life love story of her grandparents.

According to her agency, Kim Da-hyun will release the Gugak-style semi-trot song 'Love Found in Gwangyang' at noon on the 8th.

This song was created based on the story of Kim Da-hyun's grandfather and grandmother, who are the parents of Master Kim Bong-gon of Cheonghak-dong.

Her grandfather lived on Jungseom under Baegunsan Mountain in Gwangyang, and her grandmother was born and lived in Hadong, South Gyeongsang Province, before crossing the Seomjin River at the age of 18 to marry into Jungseom.

Kim Da-hyun is currently active as a promotional ambassador for Gwangyang City, and she completed this song as a tribute to her grandfather and grandmother, which she personally wrote and composed.

Kim Da-hyun stated through her agency, "I expressed the beautiful love of my grandfather and grandmother, who gave birth to and raised my father, the grateful Master Kim Bong-gon, who made our family possible, through trot. Thinking of my grandmother who married at an age similar to mine, I wrote and composed 'Love Found in Gwangyang' because I wanted to convey the beauty by recalling my grandparents' sweet love."

At 10:00 AM on the 9th, Kim Da-hyun will also release 24 types of moving KakaoTalk emoticons featuring various real-life images.

The emoticons include greetings and situational expressions such as 'Hello', 'Cheer up', and 'Good night'.

Kim Da-hyun will also perform on stages at various festival events across the country throughout the month of October.
