The band N.Flying experienced a situation where a man intruded onto their stage during a university festival performance.
According to media reports, N.Flying took the stage at the Hanshin University festival in Osan, Gyeonggi Province, on October 7.
While singing the hit song ‘Rooftop’, a man climbed onto the stage, kicked the microphone stand placed in front of bassist Seo Dong Sung, and approached Yoo Hwe Seung, who was singing.
This man touched Yoo Hwe Seung's shoulder and then appeared to protest by pointing to his own wrist.
Yoo Hwe Seung did not become greatly agitated, and leader Lee Seung Hyub separated the distance between Yoo Hwe Seung and the man.
The situation was settled as event personnel and staff restrained the man.
The performance was temporarily halted, but Yoo Hwe Seung said to the event personnel, “Please do not do it like that. You might get hurt. Slowly. I ask you to please do it slowly and carefully so no one gets hurt.”
Lee Seung Hyub also continued the stage, saying, “There was a commotion. You must have been surprised, so let's slowly try singing from the beginning once more.”
N.Flying sang ‘Rooftop’ again, and Yoo Hwe Seung said, “You all were flustered too, right? I was flustered as well. Perhaps because the sound was loud, he climbed up because he was flustered. I hope this is settled very well. I truly hope it is settled well and that everyone stays healthy.”
The reason the man intruded onto the stage has not been officially confirmed.
Meanwhile, N.Flying released their 9th mini album ‘Still’ on October 8.
