‘Running Man’ 10-minute extended programming decided! The second story of the 2-day, 1-night Cheorwon trip unfolds

Heo Kyung-hwan attempts seasoned chicken to make up for his ‘braised fish nightmare’! What is the story behind him snapping at Yang Se-chan?

Haha pours 10 packs of bone broth into budae-jjigae → even the ‘rice manager’ Ji Suk-jin fails! Dinner preparation is a ‘total mess’

In the SBS ‘Running Man’ airing this Sunday the 11th, the chaotic dinner preparation scene of the members, which will serve as the grand finale of the 2-day, 1-night Cheorwon trip, will be revealed.

The members, who traveled through the autumn attractions of Cheorwon and held a bingo race last week, reach the highlight of their 2-day, 1-night trip as they take on preparing dinner themselves. They decided to prepare a hearty table including rice cooked with Cheorwon's specialty ‘Odae Rice’, budae-jjigae, and seasoned chicken. Although it seemed to start smoothly with roles divided by menu, the person who faced the biggest obstacle from the start was Heo Kyung-hwan, who was in charge of the seasoned chicken. Heo Kyung-hwan faced the distrust of the members because he had a history of making braised fish during the Tongyeong 2-day, 1-night filming last year, which horrified the members.

Heo Kyung-hwan eagerly picked up a knife to restore his honor, but an unexpected ‘chicken war’ began as he clashed with Yang Se-chan over the recipe at every turn. It is said that Yang Se-chan drew a line starting from prepping the raw chicken, saying, “The chicken I cut looks prettier,” and as Yang Se-chan's provocations continued, Heo Kyung-hwan also fought back without backing down, causing the psychological warfare between the two to escalate and draw laughter. To make matters worse, they even failed to control the oil temperature, resulting in the chicken burning black, which reportedly put Heo Kyung-hwan's attempt to restore his honor in crisis from the very beginning.

Meanwhile, the cooking of the other members was not smooth either. Haha, who was in charge of the budae-jjigae, poured as many as 10 packs of bone broth to create a deep flavor, but when the desired taste did not come out, he continued his struggle to revive the stew. To add to this, even the ‘official Running Man rice manager’ Ji Suk-jin failed to cook the rice properly, causing the dinner preparation to fall further into a labyrinth. The members, who have showcased their cooking skills several times before, reportedly could not hide their despondency as every menu item, from rice to stew to chicken, fell into crisis one after another.

Will the members be able to revive the cooking that has fallen into a total mess and successfully complete the dinner table? The ‘Let's Tear Up Cheorwon II’ race will be revealed in ‘Running Man’, which airs 10 minutes earlier than usual at 6:00 PM on Sunday the 11th.
