Xikers to release 8th mini album on November 2... Teasing new performance at 2026 KGMA
Xikers will make their comeback on November 2 with their 8th mini album, "ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING," following the release of unit content showcasing their diverse talents. After completing their fan meeting in Osaka, the group is scheduled to participate in the Artist Day of the 2026 KGMA on November 7.
According to media reports, Xikers will release their 8th mini album, "ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING," on November 2. This marks their comeback six months after presenting their 7th mini album last May. Concept photos reminiscent of a goblin have also been released, teasing the changes they will show in the new album.
Ahead of the comeback, they released rap, performance, and vocal unit content. The rap unit, consisting of MINJAE, SUMIN, and YECHAN, revealed a free atmosphere and chemistry between members in "Just For Fun." The performance unit, featuring JUNMIN, YUJUN, and HUNTER, presented a remix version of the same song, capturing dynamic movements and performance.
The vocal unit, composed of JINSIK, HYUNWOO, JUNGHOON, and SEEUN, showed different vocal abilities and harmonious tones through "Runner's High," distinct from their title track activities. Media reports stated that the unit content highlighted the strengths of the members and the various colors of the team that were not fully revealed during full-group activities. Xikers have been building their capabilities through activities on domestic and international stages.
This album includes a total of 6 songs, such as the title track "Dynamite" and "Go," "Mask Off," "One," "Dumb," and "Sanctuary." Having debuted in March 2023, Xikers have continued their activities for three and a half years. Their previous 7th mini album set a personal record with 360,000 copies in first-week sales, and they reached 4th place on the US Billboard World Albums chart and 11th place in Top Album Sales. Xikers also recorded 3rd place on the Emerging Artists chart.
Having completed their Osaka fan meeting, Xikers are scheduled to participate in the Artist Day of the 3rd Korea Grand Music Awards (2026 KGMA) held on November 7, which will be their first popular music awards ceremony after their comeback. Following their appearance on the KGMA stage last year, they plan to increase the quality of the performance by adding a special intro performance that can only be seen on this stage.
