Along with this, ‘Flex X Cop 2’ achieved a successful conclusion by not only breaking its own highest viewership record but also surpassing the peak viewership of Season 1. The peak viewership reached 14.1%, with 11.8% nationwide and 11.7% in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, ranking first in the same time slot and first among Saturday mini-series. It also achieved the feat of maintaining No. 1 among all Saturday broadcasts, with the 2049 viewership exceeding a peak of 4.5% and an average of 3.5%. (According to Nielsen Korea)

In the final episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Flex X Cop 2’ (produced by Studio S, Big Ocean ENM, and BA Entertainment), which aired on the 19th (Saturday), a thrilling 'endgame' was depicted where Jin I-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun) and Violent Crimes Team 1, having risen from a desperate crisis, completely rounded up the meticulous serial killer Yoo Seong-won (played by Yoo Seung-ho) and his supporting forces.

Jin I-soo, who almost lost his life in the basement of Yoo Seong-won's studio, was fortunately discovered by Manager Park's (played by Lee Do-yeop) team who arrived at the scene and was transported to the hospital. I-soo underwent surgery but fell into an unconscious state, causing Joo Hye-ra to blame herself. Furthermore, because all evidence of Yoo Seong-won's crimes was burned to ashes, they had no choice but to let him go once again.

Violent Crimes Team 1 did not stop. Park Jun-yeong (played by Kang Sang-jun) and Choi Gyeong-jin (played by Kim Shin-bi) tracked Han Jong-hyeon (played by Moon Jin-seung), the secretary of Jeong Tae-seon (played by Kim Hye-eun) who had attacked Jin I-soo, and accelerated the investigation based on information provided by Jin I-soo's secret agents. However, tension rose as Jeong Tae-seon devised a cold-hearted plan to use Han Jong-hyeon to murder her son Yoo Seong-won by disguising it as a suicide and closing the case as unsolved.

Yoo Seong-won, who got into Han Jong-hyeon's vehicle, noticed the plan to eliminate him, killed Han Jong-hyeon, and escaped in the vehicle. He then continued his rampage by crashing the vehicle of Park Jun-yeong and Choi Gyeong-jin, who were chasing him, down a cliff. As all members of Violent Crimes Team 1, following Jin I-soo, were threatened, Joo Hye-ra prepared for the final battle.

Joo Hye-ra went to find Jeong Tae-seon, informed her of the fact that Han Jong-hyeon had been murdered, and offered a confession and investigative cooperation on the condition of personal protection, saying, "Yoo Seong-won will come to kill you now." Jeong Tae-seon mocked Joo Hye-ra's proposal, and Joo Hye-ra left the scene after snapping, "If you don't catch Yoo Seong-won now, you will live in anxiety for the rest of your life. In that case, I'll see you as a corpse next time?"

Joo Hye-ra's warning came true. Yoo Seong-won began to move toward Jeong Tae-seon. However, what Yoo Seong-won followed was not Jeong Tae-seon. It was Joo Hye-ra, who had obtained Jeong Tae-seon's cooperation, using her clothes and vehicle to lure Yoo Seong-won. Facing him at his exhibition hall, Joo Hye-ra said, "There is no other way now. I have to kill you," and knocked Yoo Seong-won down right in front of his artworks.

However, at the moment Joo Hye-ra was about to deliver the final blow, Yoo Seong-won's madness exploded. Yoo Seong-won shot Joo Hye-ra with a hidden handgun, saying, "You will become a masterpiece," and Joo Hye-ra collapsed on the spot, bleeding. Furthermore, Yoo Seong-won shocked onlookers by displaying the unconscious Joo Hye-ra in a corner of the exhibition hall as if she were one of his artworks.

At that moment, Jin I-soo appeared at the exhibition hall. Furious at Yoo Seong-won's atrocities, Jin I-soo smashed the displayed sculptures, which provoked Yoo Seong-won, who poured out a mad confession, explaining his crimes one by one, claiming that Jin I-soo did not understand his world of art. However, all of this was a perfect trap planned by Jin I-soo and Joo Hye-ra. The two anticipated that Yoo Seong-won might use a firearm and wore bulletproof vests in advance, and they intentionally provoked him to elicit his confession. Additionally, they gathered domestic and foreign media to the scene and live-streamed the confession scene through micro-cameras, thoroughly bringing him down by displaying his confession for all to see.

Ultimately, Joo Hye-ra personally handcuffed Yoo Seong-won, and Jin I-soo also returned to Ganghaseo as his resignation was rejected. Furthermore, Park Jun-yeong and Choi Gyeong-jin secured decisive physical evidence by discovering three buried bodies in the yard of Yoo Seong-won's house. Yoo Seong-won's serial murder crimes were fully revealed, and the case was refreshingly concluded as the crimes of Jeong Tae-seon and Gwon Tae-gyun, who protected him, were also exposed.

Jin I-soo, who held a joint funeral for the victims, received an award along with Violent Crimes Team 1 and enjoyed a pleasant ending, including a reward vacation that he personally shot. However, the peace was short-lived, as a new criminal (played by Kim Ji-hoon) targeting Violent Crimes Team 1 appeared at the end of the drama, foreshadowing another case. The scene showed Jin I-soo and Violent Crimes Team 1 heading out to solve the new case, completing a pleasant and refreshing finale worthy of 'Flex X Cop' until the very end.

In this way, ‘Flex x Cop 2’ brought its grand finale to a close amidst solid acclaim, delivering endless pleasure and a "cider" (refreshing) experience. Ahn Bo-hyun's presence was undoubtedly unrivaled as he skillfully portrayed Jin I-soo, who grew steadily into a true detective while capturing his characteristic swagger in a likable way. Additionally, the performance of Jung Eun-chae, who joined as a new face in Season 2 and captured the living rooms with restrained charisma and girl crush energy, and the irreplaceable duo play of Ahn Bo-hyun and Jung Eun-chae—who transformed from 'bickering hate-relationship seniors and juniors' into a 'perfect one-team' to shake up the game—served as the crowning glory of the drama.

The sensible episode compositions that made it impossible to look away each week were also a leading contributor to the praise. From the 'Master and Apprentice Bomb Serial Terror Case' that heated up the first episode, to the 'Killers' Graveyard Case' where the thrill of the thriller exploded, the 'Rosebud Hotel Murder Case' where romance and deduction were exquisitely intertwined, the 'Magician Murder Case' where fantasy charm shone, and the 'Ye-go Ghost Story Murder Case' which was reminiscent of an occult thriller, the diverse directing that crossed the boundaries of genres provided non-stop immersion.

The performance of the special cameo army that added splendor was also dazzling. Led by Yoo Seung-ho, a lineup reminiscent of an awards ceremony—including Kim Hye-eun, Kwak Si-yang, Kim Eui-sung, Bae Seong Jae, KwakTube, Park So-yi, Lee Hak-joo, Choi Deok-mun, Yi Seok, Son Woo-hyeon, Heo Sung-tae, Jung Chae-yeon, Jeon Hye-bin, Min Kyoung Ah, and Kim Ji-hoon—was placed in appropriate spots to maximize the flavor of the deduction. In particular, Yoo Seung-ho, who underwent a radical transformation into a mad sculptor obsessed with corpses behind the face of a 'righteous youth,' formed a sharp confrontation with the Ahn Bo-hyun-Jung Eun-chae duo, driving the tension to its peak in the latter half of the drama.

Meanwhile, viewers' responses to the refreshing finale of ‘Flex x Cop 2’ were also heated. Immediately after the broadcast, various online communities and SNS saw reactions such as: “It’s the first drama I’ve watched live in a long time, and it’s sad that I have to let it go,” “I hope Season 3 comes out, it’s my family’s favorite,” “Clean ending, good good,” “I loved that Jin I-soo was Ahn Bo-hyun,” “Jung Eun-chae joined recently but her character was so well-developed, I loved it. I can't lose Team Leader Ju,” “Yoo Seung-ho's mad acting exploded in the final episode. Immersion was the best,” and “I grew so attached to every single character in Violent Crimes Team 1. It's so sad to let them go.”

The SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Flex x Cop 2’—a pleasant, refreshing, and exhilarating "cider" cooperative investigation drama about chaebol detective Jin I-soo, who flips the game with wealth when investigations are stuck, and new Team Leader Ju Hye-ra, who uses money—concluded its run with 14 episodes on the 19th (Saturday).
