KBS to Host Special Prenatal Music Concert
KBS will host a special prenatal music concert titled "The Time We Wait for You" on October 17 at the KBS Art Hall to commemorate Pregnant Women's Day. The event features a joint performance by the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the KBS Traditional Music Orchestra, along with an invited lecture for expectant parents.

To commemorate Pregnant Women's Day (October 10), KBS will host a special prenatal music concert, "The Time We Wait for You," at 2 PM on the 17th at the KBS Art Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.
Held as part of KBS's birth and childcare encouragement campaign "Our Children, Our Future," this concert is designed to deliver peace of mind and deep emotion to expectant parents and their unborn babies during the time spent waiting for a new life.
This performance marks the first joint performance in Korea by members of the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the KBS Traditional Music Orchestra, consisting of diverse performances of classical and traditional Korean music. From sweet classical masterpieces such as Elgar's "Salut d’Amour" performed by the members of the KBS Symphony Orchestra to the peaceful traditional Korean music piece "Water Dragon Chant" presented by the KBS Traditional Music Orchestra, the concert will provide prenatal music that warmly fills the fluttering moments of waiting for a child. KBS announcer Park Ju-a will serve as the moderator for the performance.
In addition to the concert, an invited lecture for expectant parents will be provided. Lee Hyun-ju, Vice Director of Yonsei Sarangmoa Women’s Hospital, will act as the lecturer, delivering useful information related to pregnancy and childbirth under the theme "Stories I Want to Tell Expectant Mothers," and will resolve the questions of expectant mothers through an on-site Q&A session.
Furthermore, through sponsorship, this event will include an event to present souvenirs to the attending audience, and free applications for viewing can be made through the Event/Audience section of the KBS website until October 13. (End)
