'Our Ballad 2' will completely replace the nation's 'good vibe' ballad playlist.

The SBS massive audition project 'Our Ballad 2' (Planned by Jung Ik-seung, Directed by Ahn Jung-hyun, Written by Mo Eun-seol), which will premiere on Monday, October 5, is the second season of 'The Ballad of Us' that caused a ballad craze in South Korea. While predicting the birth of another star who will call forth ballads from memories with the emotions of 2026, we look at the points of interest to enjoy the second season.

In 2026, the ballad boom comes once again! Expectations for the NEW season created by the audition Avengers!

'The Ballad of Us' returns with a new season, having caused a ballad storm across South Korea, ranking 1st in 2049 viewership for all episodes, ranking 1st in all variety show episodes on Netflix's 'Today's Series', exceeding 100 million cumulative online views, and winning the Grand Prize (Entertainment/Variety TV category) at the '39th Korea Broadcasting Awards'. CP Jung Ik-seung, who has hit many audition programs, PD Ahn Jung-hyun, and writer Mo Eun-seol reunite to demonstrate the synergy of the audition Avengers. The production team plans to provide a sense of familiarity yet different fun by maintaining the unique sensibility of 'The Ballad of Us' while introducing elements unique to Season 2. In particular, as the cumulative views of the 'Our Ballad 2' pre-release and teaser videos released on major online platforms have already exceeded 10 million views, expectations are high for 'Our Ballad 2' to trigger a ballad boom again in 2026.

Moon Geun-young, Joo Woo-jae, Roy Kim—is this the first time seeing them like this on broadcast!? The pleasant activities of the NEW Top 100 Ears!

Moon Geun-young, Joo Woo-jae, and Roy Kim join as the representative delegation of the Top 100 Ears in 'Our Ballad 2'. Moon Geun-young, an audition enthusiast appearing in a fixed variety show for the first time in 7 years, turns the scene upside down from the first recording with her fiery wit. Joo Woo-jae, possessing a strong 'T' personality, continues an unexpected 'tear-holding challenge' while watching the contestants' stages, while Roy Kim, as a senior in auditions, shows authentic reactions by empathizing 100% with the contestants' feelings.

Additionally, the original Top 100 Ears delegation—Jun Hyun-moo, Jung Jae-hyung, Cha Tae-hyun, Park Kyung-lim, and Jung Seung-hwan—who showed pleasant chemistry between the entertainment team and the music team last season, reunite to show their trusted chemistry. Accordingly, attention is focused on the pleasant activities of the NEW Top 100 Ears delegation, who will show different sides through 'Our Ballad 2', and the original Top 100 Ears delegation.

Don't tease them for being young~ The NEW stages of contestants with an average age of 17.9 years begin!

'Our Ballad 2' features contestants with an average age of 17.9 years, which is even younger than the previous season. As the number of applicants recorded approximately three times more than the last season, interest is gathering as contestants with unique backgrounds, such as soldiers and overseas Koreans, also step forward.

The contestants with an average age of 17.9 on stage begin to move the hearts of the 150 Top 100 Ears by singing with a mature and deep sensibility that belies their age. Just as the saying goes that age is just a number, the stages of contestants who will recreate ballad masterpieces with their own interpretations are awaited.

From 1985 to 2025, a NEW ballad playlist full of autumn romance OPENS!

Also, in this season, various song selections boasting a wide range of 40 years from 1985 to 2025 will re-examine gem-like masterpieces hidden in music history. In the previous season, they introduced and reinterpreted ballad masterpieces loved by the nation by introducing the 'Our Ballad' TOP 100 chart selected by the production team. This time, it is said that joy will be felt as legendary masterpieces that were not introduced in the previous season and various types of song selections continue, drawing attention to the NEW ballad playlist full of autumn romance that 'Our Ballad 2' will present.

As such, the SBS massive audition project 'Our Ballad 2', where you can meet ballad gems found by the collective intelligence of 150 Top 100 Ears, will premiere on Monday, October 5 at 10 PM.
