The group RESCENE, considered a ‘trending idol’ group for 2026, will appear on ‘SBS Eight O'Clock News’ on the 11th. This marks the first time RESCENE has appeared on a major terrestrial news program.
The five members of RESCENE—WONI, LIV, MINAMI, MAY, and ZENA—will look back on their activities since their 2024 debut alongside anchor Lee Hyeon-yeong, and share their honest feelings about how their representative song ‘LOVE ATTACK’ has been steadily loved following a chart reversal. They will also open up about why they were desperate for a stage and the driving force that helped them endure difficult times. Furthermore, they will share the secret to how the five members, each possessing a distinct personality, maintain tight teamwork. They are also expected to share the preparation status of their 4th mini album ‘PULSE’, scheduled for release on the 3rd of next month.
RESCENE, who debuted in March 2024, gained attention following the ‘Geoje Yaho’ craze this spring. Subsequently, their representative song ‘LOVE ATTACK’ succeeded in a chart reversal, topping major charts and terrestrial music programs this summer, and continues to maintain long-term popularity by staying at the top tier to this day.
The remake song ‘Pretty Girl’ released last August and the track ‘Deja Vu’ from their second single album released in July last year have also gained consecutive popularity and are currently staying at the top of major charts together.
Meanwhile, the interview with the trending group RESCENE can be seen on ‘SBS Eight O'Clock News’ on Sunday the 11th at 8 PM.
