The Sarangui Dalpaengi Clarinet Ensemble, composed of hearing-impaired children and adolescents, will hold its 21st regular concert on November 29 at 5:00 PM at Yonsei University's Centennial Hall. Under the theme 'Beyond the Dream,' this performance will capture the determination of the members as they move toward their dreams through music.
Having continued for over 20 years since its founding in 2003, the ensemble will reinterpret various genres, including Disney OSTs, opera, and K-POP, through clarinet melodies on this stage. Ambassador Bae Da-hae will serve as the host, and singer Shin So-yul will participate as a guest to fill the stage. The artistic communion that transcends disability is expected to serve as an opportunity to improve social perception of the hearing-impaired for the audience.
Lee Haeng-hee, chairperson of Sarangui Dalpaengi, stated, "This concert is a place where members discover their own potential through music and move toward bigger dreams," adding, "We ask for much interest in the children's beautiful challenge and growth." This performance, held in conjunction with the Woori Financial Future Foundation, will be free for all seats.
