SBS 'The Listen: The Season We Stayed', which has gathered anticipation with its legendary lineup, meets viewers tonight.
Premiering tonight at 10:50 PM, 'The Listen: The Season We Stayed' is a busking program with the concept of a music journey of 'seeing, feeling, and singing,' meeting new spaces and people across the country and capturing the emotions and stories felt there through music. Beyond simply visiting regions to perform busking, the members are expected to provide diverse fun by blending variety and music as they directly experience the regions.
This season, a total of 14 musicians, including Lee Young-hyun, Tei, DK (December), Lee Seung-gi, EXO SUHO, Lee Ye-jun, YUJU, CHUU, ATEEZ JONGHO, Sin Ye-young, Kim Hee-jae, Park Ji-hyun, Song Min-jun, and Lee Ye-ji, have joined, forecasting an even wider musical spectrum. In particular, in the first episode, 8 artists, from 'strongest vocals' Lee Young-hyun, Tei, DK, and Sin Ye-young to 'global idols' SUHO, CHUU, and JONGHO, and 'Trot Prince' Park Ji-hyun, will take the stage to show diverse chemistry transcending genres.
Ahead of their first busking, the members headed to K-water located in Daejeon. The members will transform into 'daily employees' to tour various parts of K-water and experience special company life by directly experiencing the work of each department. Additionally, the members will even devise a 'secret operation(?)' to successfully complete their first busking. The identity of the secret operation, which members praised as "ingenious!", can be confirmed through the broadcast.
Meanwhile, unexpected encounters will unfold one after another at K-water, drawing attention. It is reported that 'Trot Prince' Park Ji-hyun, who met everyone from hometown friends to true fans during filming, warmed the scene by giving them special gifts. Not only that, but 'Daejeon Choi San(?)', who surprised ATEEZ JONGHO, makes a surprise appearance and performs the 'BAD' challenge with JONGHO. JONGHO shared his unique feeling, saying, "It's my first time performing solo in front of so many people without the members." Furthermore, idol senior SUHO joined in, showing 'EXO's dignity' and heating up the scene. The unexpected encounters and pleasant moments that unfolded on-site can be confirmed through the broadcast.
The highly anticipated main busking also unfolds richly from the first episode. You can encounter diverse music, from each member's representative songs such as Lee Young-hyun's 'At the Drop of a Hat' and Tei's 'Last Love' to remake stages that add new interpretations and charm. First, the male group song 'It's a Big Deal' (original song by V.O.S), which had its digital track pre-released last week, will be presented as a live stage by Tei, DK, SUHO, JONGHO, and Park Ji-hyun in the first episode. In the digital track, the harmonious blend of the diverse tones of seven people, including Lee Seung-gi and Kim Hee-jae, is receiving a positive response.
Also, CHUU's 'I Love You', whose digital track is being released fresh this afternoon (7th) at 6 PM, is gathering anticipation for its different charm compared to the original song by Cool Lee Jae-hoon. Through the broadcast, CHUU will present her first live stage with clear and warm vocals and lovely charm, giving happiness to the audience. Following this, ATEEZ JONGHO is reported to have drawn admiration from the audience with his soulful and appealing vocals as he performs the team's original song 'As Much as I Loved You', which is scheduled for digital release on the 11th. 'Separation expert' Sin Ye-young will reinterpret Onestar's original song 'It Was Because I Didn't Love You', scheduled for digital release on the 25th, with sorrowful yet explosive vocal skills.
Additionally, the special stages that can only be met in 'The Listen' cannot be missed. Legendary vocals Lee Young-hyun X Tei X DK's 'Can We Love Again?', the unusual meeting transcending genres; SUHO X CHUU X Park Ji-hyun's 'Aloha', a sweet harmony of two tones; JONGHO X Sin Ye-young's 'Our Love as It Is'; the special harmonies of musicians with different charms are expected to richly fill the viewers' autumn nights.
Furthermore, the first hidden mission of the season of 'The Listen' draws attention. It is the 'Destiny Busking' corner, where members must perform a special mission while singing, which is expected to add more fun and tension to 'The Listen'.
The emotional music journey of this autumn, returning with new members and even richer music, SBS 'The Listen: The Season We Stayed' will air every Wednesday night at 10:50 PM starting today, and various digital contents can also be met through the YouTube Studio:D.
