In the SBS Friday variety show "My Genie Secretary" (hereafter "My Genie Secretary") broadcasting on the 9th, the behind-the-scenes stories of the basketball life of 'National Treasure Center' Seo Jang-hoon, who predicted the gold medal for the men's national basketball team at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, will be revealed.

Appearing as the 'my star' of "My Genie Secretary," Seo Jang-hoon draws laughter by saying, "Little kids think I'm just a tall comedian," while talking about his recent life as an entertainer after retirement. Consequently, his 'National Treasure Center' days will be summoned, and episodes from his player days that are not easily heard will be revealed.

In particular, Seo Jang-hoon tells the behind-the-scenes story of the 'golden match' at the 2002 Busan Asian Games. At that time, South Korea, which was struggling against the '227cm giant' Yao Ming in the final, succeeded in a dramatic turnaround in overtime thanks to a 3-pointer by Seo Jang-hoon, finally defeating China and embracing the men's basketball gold medal for the first time in 20 years. In the subsequent interview, a rare scene of Seo Jang-hoon, which is hard to see normally, was created. While giving credit to his teammates rather than his own performance, he finally shed overwhelming tears. Lee Seo-jin, who watched the match in real-time at the time, also added to the emotion by recalling the touching moment, saying, "I felt choked up too."

Following this, Seo Jang-hoon mentions the men's national basketball team participating in the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, evaluating them by saying, "Now is the golden generation," and predicts a gold medal. And as South Korea actually took the gold medal, it is said that even the prediction of 'basketball legend' Seo Jang-hoon came true, raising curiosity about why Seo Jang-hoon was so certain of the national team's gold medal.

Meanwhile, the special mental management method of Seo Jang-hoon, who has transformed from a 'National Treasure Center' on the court to a representative 'extremely angry character' in the entertainment industry, will also be revealed. Seo Jang-hoon, who has garnered attention for his sincere anger at frustrating stories in various programs such as "Divorce Camp," "Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller," and "Love War," caught attention by revealing his own 'mental reset method,' saying, "Since it shouldn't interfere with the next day's recording, I forget it once it's over. I shake it off quickly and prepare for the next one."

From the heated match behind-the-scenes stories of the 'National Treasure Center' to the unique mental management method of entertainer Seo Jang-hoon, you can check it out on SBS "My Genie Secretary" broadcasting on Friday the 9th at 11:10 PM.
