Seoul International Drama Awards 2026 Winners Announced... Norway's 'A Better Man' Wins Grand Prize

The Seoul International Drama Awards Organizing Committee has released the winners and the list of recipients for the 'Seoul International Drama Awards 2026', which saw 352 entries from 46 countries. In this awards ceremony, 10 works and 16 individual winners were selected across three categories: International Competition, K-Drama, and International Invitation.

The Grand Prize in the International Competition category was won by the Norwegian work 'A Better Man'. This work achieved a triple crown, also winning the Best Writer and Best Actor awards. The domestic work 'The Dream Life of Mr. Kim' also recorded a triple crown, sweeping the International Competition Mini-series Best Drama, K-Drama Best Drama, and Best Actor (Ryu Seung-ryong) awards. It is interpreted that the global trend of blurring the boundaries of genre works and emphasizing narrative depth was fully reflected in these award results.

In the K-Drama category, works from SLL swept the Best Drama awards, and in the individual award category, Koo Kyo-hwan and Lim Ji-yeon each won the Best Actor and Best Actress awards, respectively. The OST award went to RIIZE's ANTON. Meanwhile, for the Asia Star Award, which is selected through global fan voting, 7 actors from 6 countries, including JAEMIN, Jisoo, and Yang Yang, had their names listed.
