100 Types of Shogakukan Manga Original Art to be Presented in Ginza, Sold in 10 Locations Including South Korea Overseas

TOKYO MANGA BASE held the pop-up event 'TOKYO MANGA BASE SHOGAKUKAN MANGA ART COLLECTION' at GINZA ATRIUM within GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS from September 20 to 29, 2026.

Inspired by the artistic and cultural environment of GINZA ATRIUM, this event presented carefully selected manga art products utilizing manga original drawings and full-color artwork.

The lineup included fine art reproductions using original manga drawings from works such as 'Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End' and 'BANANA FISH', as well as Metal Canvas Art, which realizes unique textures and three-dimensional effects through proprietary techniques. These fine art reproductions and Metal Canvas Art had previously been sold only via made-to-order methods through LIFETUNES MALL, the official Shogakukan online store.

At this event, over 100 different types of manga art products, including T-shirts and acrylic blocks utilizing artwork from popular Shogakukan manga works, were presented for a limited time.

One of the main attractions of the event is the fine art reproduction of the special illustration 'Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End × Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring', produced in connection with the 'Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Masterpieces of the 17th Century Exhibition' held at Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka. This work was specially exhibited at the venue and can be purchased via a made-to-order method.

Additionally, as a new attempt, some products presented at the venue were simultaneously sold through the TOKYO MANGA BASE overseas online store. Currently, the overseas online store is available in 10 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam.

From September 20 to October 19, 2026, fine art reproductions of manga original drawings will be sold to overseas customers for the first time through TOKYO MANGA BASE. Furthermore, overseas customers can also encounter some of the products presented at the Ginza event through the TOKYO MANGA BASE overseas online store.
