National Salvation Corps targets Sato Shinichi in third assassination attempt
The National Salvation Corps prepares to execute its third assassination mission targeting Sato Shinichi during a ceremony for the opening of the Gisonggwan.
The National Salvation Corps plans to detonate a bomb during the Gisonggwan opening banquet on the 7th, as Sato Shinichi defies orders to postpone the event following Yun Bong-gil's uprising. Lee Ga-gyeong has successfully smuggled the device into the ceremony to facilitate this third attempt against the target.
In the tvN weekend drama '100 Days of Deception,' the National Salvation Corps enters its third assassination operation targeting Sato Shinichi (Jin Seon-kyu). In the ninth episode airing on the 7th, Lee Ga-gyeong (Kim You-jung), Kim Tae-ung (Park Jin-young), Yoo So-ran (Kim Hyun-joo), Yoo Philip (Lee Moo-saeng), and Sato Shinichi will all gather at the opening ceremony for the Gisonggwan of the Government-General of Korea.
The National Salvation Corps, led by Yoo So-ran and Yoo Philip, has planned a third operation to detonate a bomb during the Gisonggwan opening banquet, and Lee Ga-gyeong has completed preparations by successfully smuggling the bomb inside. Although the Governor had instructed to postpone the event following the aftermath of Yun Bong-gil's uprising, Sato Shinichi defied the order to demonstrate the continued strength of the Government-General of Korea, providing an opportunity for the National Salvation Corps.
In photos released by the production team, Yoo So-ran and Yoo Philip show calm yet sharp vigilance as they enter the Government-General of Korea together as a married couple for the first time. Lee Ga-gyeong stands beside Sato Shinichi, who greets them, instead of Kim Tae-ung, and the subsequent movements of Kim Tae-ung, who appears late, add to the tension.
Having obtained an opportunity to travel to the United States earlier than expected, Lee Ga-gyeong performs her final mission as the spy 'Geum Seo-hee' while facing a separation from Kim Tae-ung. The production team stated, "Following the previous two failures, the National Salvation Corps' third operation is carried out with even greater boldness," adding, "The sense of crisis and tension will reach its peak along with the scale of the operation." The broadcast is at 9:10 PM on the 7th.
