4BY4 to 4K Remaster Classic Dramas like 'Dae Jang Geum' Using AI Technology

Content AI solution company 4BY4 has participated in Wavve's 'New Classic Project' for the third consecutive year, performing 4K remastering work on classic masterpiece dramas. This project includes past popular works such as 'Dae Jang Geum', 'Hur Jun', 'Lee San, Wind in the Palace', and 'Immortal Admiral Yi Sun-sin', and 4BY4's proprietary solution 'AI PIXELL' was applied.

Unlike generative AI, this technology adopts a non-generative AI method that improves image quality based on the information of the original video. It focuses on removing video noise and increasing resolution while maintaining visual characteristics such as the original texture and the actors' facial expressions. It is evaluated that it has optimized the content for modern high-resolution display environments by solving the low resolution and noise issues present in past broadcast content.

Based on its proven technological capabilities in the broadcasting and OTT industries, 4BY4 is expanding its market by launching 'AI PIXELL PRO' for individual creators.
