Busan International Film Festival 'The Assassin(s)' Official Schedule Unchanged... Only Lee Min-ho's Personal Event Cancelled
While the official schedule for the film 'The Assassin(s)' at the Busan International Film Festival remains unchanged, actor Lee Min-ho's personal 'Actors House' event has been cancelled.
Actor Lee Min-ho's personal schedule for the Busan International Film Festival has been cancelled.
The official schedule for the film 'The Assassin(s)' remains the same.
According to a TenAsia report on September 2, there are no changes to the outdoor stage greeting for 'The Assassin(s)' scheduled for the 7th at the Busan International Film Festival.
The existing attendees are director Hur Jin-ho and lead actors Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho.
Lee Min-ho's 'Actors House' event, which was scheduled for the same day, has been cancelled, and this decision is reportedly following a request from Lee Min-ho's agency.
'The Assassin(s)' tells the story of tracking down the mastermind behind the shooting of First Lady Yuk Young-soo that occurred on August 15, 1974. Amid ongoing controversy over historical distortion, director Hur Jin-ho said on the YouTube channel 'Bong Ji-uk's Off the Record' on the 30th of last month, "I didn't know it would be disparaged like this. The actors are also having a hard time. Because they are framing us with the controversy over historical distortion."
