HYBE's Weverse Con Festival to be held in New Delhi, India, next March

HYBE will hold Weverse Con Festival India in New Delhi, India, next March.

HYBE announced on the 8th that it will host Weverse Con Festival India in New Delhi, India, for two days from March 27 to 28 next year.

This event will be conducted together with the local Indian subsidiary, HYBE India.

Weverse Con Festival India will be organized as a festival where K-pop, Indian music, and the fan cultures of both countries gather in one place.

K-pop artists and Indian artists will be the main focus, and the lineup is scheduled to be revealed in October.

After establishing the HYBE India subsidiary last year, HYBE has been interacting with local fans by holding auditions and fan experience events in 23 cities inside and outside of India.

A HYBE official stated that Weverse Con Festival India will be a place where HYBE's multi-home, multi-genre strategy—which has promoted the convergence and synergy of local culture and K-pop culture—is realized, and it will be a festival for Indian fans who have supported K-pop and its artists.

The official added that they will make it a festival that further enriches and expands HYBE's global entertainment ecosystem by demonstrating the global capabilities accumulated over a long period to provide diverse fan experiences and high-quality performances.

The Weverse Con Festival is a global music festival that started in 2023, bringing various performers such as K-pop, J-pop, and indie bands onto one stage.

In its first year, 20 teams participated, and this year the number increased to 30 teams.

Weverse Con Festival India, held next March, is the first Weverse Con Festival to be held overseas, while the Weverse Con Festival held annually in South Korea will continue separately.
