Takuya Kimura's First Stage in Seoul, 22 Songs Across 5 Overseas Cities for Solo Tour

Takuya Kimura held the Seoul concert for the live tour "TAKUYA KIMURA Live Tour 2026 Checkpoint," featuring the album "Checkpoint" released last August.

Takuya Kimura holds his first overseas performance after solo activities in Seoul

This tour consists of 9 performances across a total of 5 cities, including 3 Japanese cities such as Hyogo, Fukuoka, and Chiba, as well as Seoul and Taipei. It holds even more special meaning for Takuya Kimura as it is his first performance held overseas since his solo activities began.

The Korean performance was realized amidst great anticipation. At the beginning of the show, Takuya Kimura greeted local fans in Korean, saying, "I am truly happy to be able to come to Korea for a LIVE performance," and "Although time is limited, I hope you have a wonderful time." In response, loud cheers erupted from the audience. Takuya Kimura, stepping onto the Korean stage for the first time as a soloist, created a special first moment by instantly closing the distance with local fans.

In this performance, he presented a total of 22 songs, centered around the tracks from his latest album "Checkpoint."

He presented stages that fully captured the worldview of the album "Checkpoint," including "BLACK DENIM," a song Takuya Kimura particularly recommends from the album, which could be enjoyed alongside its music video on a large screen, and "光の中で," a song provided by ONE OK ROCK's Taka.

Additionally, "セロリ," which is also included in the first press edition of the album, was performed in an acoustic style, coloring the concert hall with a warm atmosphere.

Having crossed the sea to Seoul to engrave a new "Checkpoint" in his heart for the first time since his solo activities, the tour has 6 performances remaining, including the Chiba performance on November 23.

The "TAKUYA KIMURA Live Tour 2026 Checkpoint," which tours both inside and outside Japan, will reach its tour finale on November 23.
