TV CHOSUN ‘Trot Kitchen: Traveling Dinner Show’ sets out to prepare legendary special meals for the table tennis prospects who will be responsible for the future of Cheongyang.
In the 2nd episode of TV CHOSUN ‘Trot Kitchen: Traveling Dinner Show’ (produced by TME Group, directed by Moon Tae-ju, hereinafter ‘Trot Kitchen’), which airs on the 12th, the scene is revealed where Lee Soo-geun, Kim Yong-bin, Chef Yoon Na-ra (the ‘Brewing Yoon Jumo’ from ‘Culinary Class Wars’), Chef Lim Tae-hoon (the ‘Iron Box Chef’), and Na Sang-do and Nam Seung-min, who joined as ‘daily part-timers’ to provide support, visit a middle school table tennis club in Cheongyang, Chungcheongnam-do, to prepare a special meal.
On this day, the members begin their second day of the journey at the famous Chilgapsan Tower in Cheongyang. However, from the opening, an untimely ‘tardiness targeting’ toward Kim Yong-bin begins. As Kim Yong-bin appears from afar singing ‘Chilgapsan Mountain,’ Na Sang-do asks in confusion, “Are you filming a music video?” and Lee Soo-geun, as if waiting for this, pushes him by saying, “You are deceiving the filming and coming late just because you became a little famous.” In response, Kim Yong-bin appeals his unfairness saying, “No, I'm not,” and interest rises in the scene of the unfair ‘Yong-bin targeting’ where Kim Yong-bin becomes the target from the very start.
Next, the members head to a middle school in Cheongyang to meet the day's subject. There, the ‘Trot Kitchen’ members meet middle school table tennis club members with outstanding skills and draw attention by engaging in a surprise match to personally verify their abilities. With the agreement to provide special meals if the players win, ‘Iron Box Chef’ Lim Tae-hoon faces off against a 14-year-old student. However, after hearing the student's introduction, Chef Lim Tae-hoon pours out a bewildered reaction, asking, “Isn't this a foul?” drawing attention to the reason.
Additionally, on this day, Kim Yong-bin and Nam Seung-min visit a Cheongyang melon field to source local ingredients. However, the peaceful melon harvesting is short-lived as Nam Seung-min proposes, “Shall you and I each pick two and have a competition to see which has better quality?” starting a sudden battle of pride. Both burst with confidence, saying, “I have the best eye for quality,” increasing curiosity about who will emerge victorious.
Meanwhile, TV CHOSUN ‘Trot Kitchen: Traveling Dinner Show’ Episode 2, which gifts special memories to neighbors across the country with delicious food and joyful songs, will be broadcast on Monday, October 12 at 10 PM.
