Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival to be held around Sotbawi Rock from October 2–5

Uiryeong County, Gyeongsangnam-do, will hold the 5th Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival from October 2 to 5.

The event locations are Uiryeong County Residents Park and the area around Sotbawi Rock.

According to media reports, this year's theme is "Sense of Wealth."

Sotbawi Rock is a rock located in the middle of the Namgang River and is also known as the "Wealthy Rock."

A legend is passed down that a great wealthy person is born within a radius of 20 ri, approximately 8 km.

Nearby are the birthplaces of Samsung founder Hoam Lee Byung-chul, LG founder Yeonam Koo In-hwoi, and Hyosung founder Manwoo Cho Hong-je.

In Uiryeong, there is also the birthplace of Samyoung Chemical founder Lee Jong-hwan.

This year's festival will present six senses—insight, scent, gourmet, listening, practice, and intuition—through experiential contents.

The core space, the Wealthy No. 1 Theme Hall, consists of 9 zones.

Programs such as Wealthy Doljabi, Rich Rich Authentic Masterpieces, Rich Rich Rhythm Game, Rich Rich Donation Game, and AI Rich Condition have been prepared.

Family-oriented programs include the Rich Cheerful Sports Day, Rich Family Olympics, Rich Arcade, and the children's career experience program, Rich Kidzania.

In the Sotbawi Rock area, the Heart Bridge, Rich Wish Tree, and Jeongdeuneun Jeongam Market will take place.

A Rich Boat Tour to view the scenery of the Namgang River has also been arranged.

Performances will begin on the 2nd with Kim Yong-bin, Kim Hee-jae, and Son Bin-a.

On the 3rd, the Legendary Men TOP 7 in Uiryeong performance will be held.

On the 4th, RESCENE, Won-Jae Woo, Yuk Joong-wan Band, and Hong Kyung-min will take the stage.

On the 5th, Park Ji-hyun, Chun-gil, Shin In-seon, Gil Ryeo-won, and Ahn So-mi will conclude the festival.

During the festival period, the Rich Lottery, which participants can join using receipts from local shops, and food events will also be operated.

From 9 PM on the 2nd to the 4th, the Rich EDM Disco Music Party will be held.

At last year's 4th festival, approximately 340,000 people visited over 4 days, and Uiryeong County analyzed that it achieved a direct economic effect of approximately 16.3 billion won.
