ASC2NT New Song Music Video Surpasses 1.3 Million Views... Production Costs Reduced to One-Tenth Using Generative AI Technology
The music video for ASC2NT's new song "If I Die Tomorrow" has surpassed 1.3 million views on YouTube within three days of release.
The music video for the group ASC2NT's new song 'If I Die Tomorrow' is drawing attention, recording 1.3 million views approximately three days after its release on YouTube. Based on an apocalypse concept, this project captured attention by realizing ruined cities and disaster situations like a blockbuster movie.
According to media reports, this music video was completed through the technological prowess of the Korea Digital DNA Center (KDDC). After filming the members using volumetric capture, digital DNA was constructed using 3D Gaussian Splatting technology, and Julyhouse's Chopstick Studio chose a method to expand backgrounds and objects using generative AI tools.
This production method significantly reduced production costs to about one-tenth compared to existing visual effects (VFX) centered processes. An official from the Korea Digital DNA Center explained that this collaboration has opened up the possibility of producing large-scale cinematic content even for small and medium-sized agencies and rookie artists, and that the scope of application will expand to various fields such as advertising and movies in the future.
