NewJeans released photos of HANNI, HYEIN, MINJI, and HAERIN on the 29th to mark the 4th anniversary of their fandom, Bunnies. While HAERIN, HYEIN, and HANNI have confirmed their returns, MINJI's future with the group remains under discussion with ADOR, and no schedule for a comeback or new album has been announced.
NewJeans has released photos of its members to mark the 4th anniversary of the birth of their official fandom, Bunnies.
On the 29th, the official NewJeans Instagram account posted photos of HANNI, HYEIN, MINJI, and HAERIN with the message, "Happy 4th Bunnies Day!"
Bunnies Day commemorates the day in October 2022 when NewJeans decided on the fandom name Bunnies.
The released photos capture the members spending their daily lives in various different locations.
However, the reaction was not entirely bright. As no schedule for the resumption of activities has been announced, some fans pointed out that despite nearly a year passing since discussions with MINJI began, her return has not been confirmed, leaving comments asking, "When are you making a comeback?"
Following a dispute over their exclusive contracts with ADOR, NewJeans received a court ruling confirming the validity of their contracts last October. In November of the same year, HAERIN and HYEIN announced their return, and in December, HANNI's return was also confirmed. DANIELLE left the team after being notified of the termination of her exclusive contract by ADOR last December. While MINJI continues discussions with ADOR regarding future activities, her return has not been officially confirmed. No schedule for a new album release or the resumption of group activities has been announced yet.
