Singer Bae Jin-ah released her new song ‘Once in a While’ through various online music sites at noon on September 3. This new song was gifted by the trot master composer Jeong Ui-song, who highly evaluated Bae Jin-ah's ability to interpret songs, and the lyrics contain the sorrowful heart of waiting for a lover.

According to media reports, this new song was produced in two versions, ballad and dance, providing listeners with a different listening experience. The ballad version emphasizes the deep emotions of traditional trot, while the dance version reveals Bae Jin-ah's wide musical capabilities through an exciting rhythm that contrasts with the sad lyrics.

Through her agency, Bae Jin-ah expressed her feelings, saying it is an honor to sing a song by the respected composer Jeong Ui-song. Known by the nickname ‘the Jeon In-hwa of the trot world,’ Bae Jin-ah has been actively continuing her activities through various broadcast programs such as ‘National Singing Contest’ and ‘Golden Oldies (TV program).’
