According to media reports, BTS held two performances at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA, last month, drawing a total of 157,798 spectators. The total revenue generated over the two days was $31.8 million, which is approximately 42.47 billion Korean won.
This represents a 126.3% increase in revenue compared to the $14,050,410 (approximately 18.78 billion Korean won) earned from two performances held at the same venue in May 2019. The number of spectators also increased by 60.1% from 98,574, and the overall scale of revenue was recorded to have grown 2.26 times.
Meanwhile, as a result of analyzing 18 recent performances, BTS ranked first in 'Global Concert Pulse' by recording an average revenue of $12.7 million per show. Moving forward, they are scheduled to continue their South American tour starting with Bogota, Colombia, on the 2nd of next month.
