Fikad launches fika.agent to create short-form videos from text
Fikad, the operator of the AI short-form editing service FikaClip, has released fika.agent, an AI agent capable of managing the entire short-form video production process from planning to completion using only a single line of text.
Fikad announced the October 26 launch of fika.agent, an AI agent capable of generating entire short-form videos from a single line of text. The tool can produce content using only product photos or news links without filmed footage, offering over 60 templates and support for five languages.
Fikad (CEO Jeong Won-mo), which operates the AI short-form editing service FikaClip, announced on October 26 the launch of fika.agent, an AI agent that creates short-form videos from planning to completion based on a single line of text.
When a user writes one sentence describing the video they want to create, fika.agent performs the entire short-form production process, including planning, storyboarding, scene generation, subtitles, and music. While most existing AI short-form tools focus on editing and cutting original filmed footage, fika.agent differs by being able to create videos using only materials such as product photos, news article links, blog posts, or recipe notes, even without any filmed footage.
The production process consists of four stages. First, the agent asks several questions to determine the target audience and atmosphere of the video, then presents a storyboard containing the scene compositions. Once the user approves the storyboard, video production begins; if a scene is unsatisfactory, the user can redraw only that specific scene by entering instructions such as "make it brighter." The completed video can be transferred directly to the FikaClip editor to refine subtitles and music or to be downloaded.
The service provides more than 60 templates—including news briefings, science explanations, product CGI advertisements, historical storyboards, magazine covers, and character dances—allowing users with no short-form production experience to start by selecting a template. If logos, products, or character images are registered as brand assets, they are automatically reflected in the scenes regardless of the chosen template. Videos and subtitles can be created in five languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Portuguese. Additionally, the work continues even if the user leaves the screen during production, and a notification is sent once it is completed.
Fikad identifies small business owners, marketers, solo creators, and operators of information or news channels—who must upload short-form content weekly without filming staff or editing experience—as its primary users. The company explained that the tool can particularly reduce production time for short-form content where planning is more important than filming, such as product promotional videos, general knowledge/news briefings, and meme content.
Pricing is divided into three tiers: Free, Pro, and Max. The Free plan provides 500 credits upon signing up without requiring card registration. The Pro plan, priced at 34,900 won per month, provides 5,000 credits monthly, access to all more than 60 templates, and watermark-free downloads. The Max plan, priced at 99,000 won per month, provides 15,000 credits monthly and supports simultaneous production of multiple videos and priority processing. An annual payment offers up to a 20% discount, and existing FikaClip users can use the service immediately using the same account and credits without a separate subscription.
“Until now, short-form videos could only be made by those who already had filmed footage, but with fika.agent, even a single product photo or a single line of text becomes a video,” said Fikad CEO Jeong Won-mo. “Because the method involves checking and approving the storyboard first, the results are predictable, and because scenes can be edited individually, users can quickly create short-form content that is ready for practical use.”
fika.agent can be used directly in a web browser, and further details are available on the official website (fikad.boo/agent).
