KATSEYE Sweeps Billboard 200 and Artist 100 with Simultaneous No. 1 Rankings

The global girl group KATSEYE, under HYBE-Geffen Records, has swept the main Billboard charts. According to the latest charts (as of August 29) released by Billboard on the 25th (local time), all three albums released by KATSEYE have simultaneously appeared on the 'Billboard 200'.

Their third EP 'WILD' climbed to No. 1 on the 'Billboard 200' with 170,000 album units. This is the highest weekly figure achieved by a female group since Billboard introduced album unit-based counting in December 2015. Their second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' rose 29 spots from the previous week to No. 92, marking its 60th consecutive week on the chart, and their debut EP 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' also recorded No. 156, climbing 40 spots.

On the single chart 'Hot 100', four songs by KATSEYE appeared simultaneously. The pre-release track 'Animal' from 'WILD' rose 6 spots from the previous week to No. 24, and the title track 'Hootie Frutti' made its debut at No. 31. Another pre-release track, 'PINKY UP', sat at No. 81, and the collaboration single 'ICONIC BY MISTAKE' with Le Sserafim and Illit landed at No. 94. The B-side tracks 'Bel Air' and 'That Way' climbed to No. 11 and No. 14, respectively, on the 'Bubbling Under Hot 100'.

KATSEYE also jumped 27 spots from No. 28 the previous week to take No. 1 on the 'Artist 100', which aggregates individual artist achievements. Their Spotify monthly listeners increased from 35,116,395 between July 13 and August 9 (around the release of 'WILD') to 38,493,596 as of August 26, and the music video for 'Hootie Frutti' has surpassed 44.55 million views on YouTube.

Through HYBE-Geffen Records, KATSEYE stated, "This No. 1 belongs to the fans. Thank you for believing in us, listening to our music, and sending us so much love." Having debuted in the United States in 2024, they won three awards at the '2026 American Music Awards', including New Artist of the Year, were nominated in two categories at the '68th Grammy Awards', and will begin 'THE WILDWORLD TOUR' in Dublin, Ireland, on September 1.
