Musical actor Kim Ho-young and singer Choi Yoo-jung have joined the master lineup for TV CHOSUN's 'Mr. Trot 4', where they will use their unique perspectives to help discover the next generation of trot stars.

Scheduled to air this December, 'Mr. Trot 4' is South Korea's representative trot audition program that has produced numerous trot stars, including Lim Young-woong, YOUNGTAK, Lee Chan-won, Ahn Sung-hoon, Park Ji-hyun, Kim Yong-bin, and Son Bin-a. Ahead of the fourth season, which aims to continue the reputation of the original trot audition, the master lineup has been completed with the addition of Kim Ho-young and Choi Yoo-jung, joining Jang Yoon-jeong, composer Cho Yeong-su—who returns after five years—and key figures from previous seasons.

Kim Ho-young is an actor beloved for his solid skills, unrivaled energy, and unique characters built on the musical stage. Having demonstrated a wide range of expression in various works, he has also maintained a strong presence in variety shows with his uninhibited wit and pleasant reactions. Interest is growing regarding how Kim, who clearly reveals his own color on stage, will identify the individuality and expressiveness of the participants. In a trot competition where stage presence is as vital as singing ability, expectations are high for how Kim's honest perspective and vivid reactions will add enjoyment.

Choi Yoo-jung is a singer who built her own identity through solo activities and as a member of Weki Meki, after being selected as a member of I.O.I through Mnet's 'Produce 101'. As someone who has experience capturing the hearts of the public as an audition participant, there is anticipation regarding how she will view the efforts and potential shown by the challengers on stage. Based on her performance experience encompassing both dance and song, she is expected to closely observe the participants' stage composition, methods of expression, and their ability to utilize their own charms.

The joining of these two individuals is significant in that they can examine various elements that complete a performance in addition to musical perfection. With Kim Ho-young crossing between musical stages and variety shows, and Choi Yoo-jung having grown through auditions and idol activities, they will face the participants based on their differing experiences. As new perspectives are added to the professional judging of the existing masters, this is expected to become another point of interest in discovering the hidden charms and growth potential of the participants.

Which participants will Kim Ho-young and Choi Yoo-jung focus on? TV CHOSUN's 'Mr. Trot 4', which seeks to discover the next generation of 'Trot Dokkaebis' with an even more diverse master lineup, will broadcast this December.
