SEVENTEEN JUN partially reveals new songs from first Chinese EP '9'... to be released on the 28th at 11 AM

SEVENTEEN's JUN has revealed parts of the new songs from his first Chinese EP '9', unveiling the album's narrative.

From the 25th to the 26th, JUN sequentially presented trailers and posters for '9' through the HYBE LABELS official YouTube channel and SEVENTEEN SNS.

The released content consists of five stories: 'Awakening', 'Admiration', 'Butterfly', 'Conquer', and 'Doubt'.

The first trailer depicts the scene where JUN, a 九命猫妖 (nine-tailed cat) with nine tails, first enters the human world. In the following videos, the flow continues with JUN granting the wishes of others and facing emotions he has never experienced before. The fourth trailer, 'Conquer', features a cheerful beat and guitar riff, and includes JUN's voice saying "Catch my eyes I’ll make your wish" in the approximately 15-second video.

The posters also revealed the overall flow of the album. The story, which begins with anticipation and curiosity about a new world, passes through admiration, excitement, and joy, leading to doubt and skepticism. The fifth poster, 'Doubt', contains the phrase "Which version of me am I even talking to right now".

'9' was produced inspired by the Chinese folk legend '九命猫妖'. Starting from the story that a cat gains eternal life after undergoing training to obtain nine tails, it contains the process of experiencing and accepting various emotions to complete one's true self. JUN will release three additional trailers and posters each on the 26th, and will present the key object on the 27th. The first Chinese EP '9' will be released on the 28th at 11 AM.
