UNCHILD returns as five-member group with new single TiNG TiNG
The group UNCHILD held a media showcase for their second digital single "TiNG TiNG" as a five-member lineup following member Hiki's hiatus for health reasons.
Five members of UNCHILD held a media showcase at NOL Theater Hapjeong in Seoul on the 5th to release their second digital single, "TiNG TiNG," following Hiki's health-related hiatus that began on June 12.
The group UNCHILD has made a comeback after seven months. Following member Hiki's hiatus starting June 12 due to health reasons, the group performed as a five-member lineup. Tina, Na Ha-eun, Park Ye-eun, Ako, and Yvonne held a media showcase on the 5th at NOL Theater Hapjeong in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second digital single, "TiNG TiNG".
Unlike their debut showcase, the members appeared more relaxed. Na Ha-eun remarked, "During the debut showcase, I was 100% nervous, but today I just want to convey our story quickly." Tina stated, "During our debut, I wanted to show a good first stage, but now I want to show something new and even better."
This comeback emphasizes a "poisonous frog" concept, transforming from "tree frogs" into "poisonous frogs." The group's new concept features a setting of "quirky heroes" who have fallen to Earth. The release includes the title track "TiNG TiNG," a powerful French house genre track, and the B-side "Light," which is a deep house track. Tina explained that the lyric "unusual from the moment of appearance" well represents the team's personality.
Hiki is currently focusing on recovering her health and sent messages of support to the members even on the evening before the showcase. Park Ye-eun noted, "Hiki's recovery is the most important thing." UNCHILD expressed their goal of earning the title of "the undisputed king of concepts" through this album.
