Seventeen member Mingyu is beginning his alternative military service on the 10th, having shared photos of his shaved head with fans via social media.
Mingyu of the group Seventeen begins his alternative military service on the 10th. Ahead of his enlistment on the 8th, Mingyu shared photos of his shaved hairstyle through his SNS to greet his fans.
His agency, Pledis, requested that fans refrain from visiting the site on the day of enlistment to prevent congestion at the scene. They also explained that during the service period, they plan to continue communicating with fans through pre-prepared content.
Currently, Seventeen is undergoing a hiatus due to the members' fulfillment of military service. Including Mingyu, Wonwoo and Vernon are undergoing alternative service, while Hoshi, Woozi, and Dokyeom are serving as active-duty soldiers. Jeonghan was released from duty last June, and S.Coups was judged exempt from military service.
