During an appearance on Lee Eun-ji's YouTube channel on the 30th, Shin Min-a shared that she entered the entertainment industry in 1998 as an exclusive model for the teen magazine Kiki. Her transition to acting followed her roles in Jo Sung-mo's "Do You Know" music video and the movie Volcano High.

In a video released on Lee Eun-ji's YouTube channel on the 30th, Shin Min-a explained the circumstances that led her to enter the entertainment industry. She stated, "I didn't debut through acting; I started in 1998 as an exclusive model for the teen magazine Kiki."

She went on to explain that her acting career followed naturally after filming the music video for Jo Sung-mo's "Do You Know" and subsequently appearing in the movie Volcano High.

When Lee Eun-ji asked about her motivation for applying to be a magazine model, Shin Min-a recalled that being a model for teen magazines such as Kiki and CeCi was very popular at the time, and she had applied and taken first place.

She mentioned that starting her modeling activities at the young age of a second-year middle school student was special because she could not attend school often. Expressing the thrill of that time, she said, "Should I call it a vacation, or perhaps a deviation? It felt so good."

She also drew laughter by making a quirky mistake, referring to "Yaja" (night self-study) as "Yaja Time."
