Uhm Jeong-hwa Confesses Shock Over Failure to Enter Music Charts During Comeback After 9 Years

In a video released on September 11 through her YouTube channel, Uhm Jeong-hwa reminisced about past concerns while conversing with singer and actress Choi Sooyoung. She revealed that when she returned to the music industry after 9 years following her activities with 'Disco', she was greatly shocked to face a situation where her new song did not even enter the TOP 100 on the music charts.

According to media reports, unlike the past when releasing an album naturally meant entering the TOP 10, Uhm Jeong-hwa shared that she deeply contemplated her future direction as she realized the changed music consumption methods and the difficulty of entering the charts. She added that it is important not to fear failure and to continue making bold attempts while maintaining her own unique color.
