Yang Hong-won shares cryptic lyrics following infidelity allegations
Rapper Yang Hong-won shared a video featuring Drake's "WNBA" on Instagram, containing lyrics that appear to address complex relationships following recent allegations of infidelity.
Yang Hong-won posted a video with lyrics about drifting apart on October 31, following allegations that he visited a motel with another woman five days after his wedding in Seoul.
On October 31, Yang Hong-won posted a video to his Instagram story featuring the Drake song "WNBA." The lyrics included in the video include lines such as, "It feels like we are drifting apart," "The road leading to you. I want to see you in person and say what I want to say," "We aren't a relationship that ends easily," "Whether at home or far away, this isn't it," and "You are the only person who truly cannot be explained."
No specific comments were attached to the story, but the post comes amid recent controversy regarding Yang Hong-won's marriage. He held a wedding ceremony in Seoul on the 18th of last month with former model Won Hyun-joo. This official marriage took place approximately two years after the birth of their daughter, Rua, in November 2024. The daughter also attended the wedding ceremony, adding significance to the event.
However, on the 23rd, five days after the wedding, allegations of infidelity were raised against Yang Hong-won. An individual identified as an acquaintance, referred to as "A," revealed through their own SNS that Yang Hong-won went to a motel after having drinks with another woman. While Yang Hong-won's agency acknowledged the fact, they countered the claim, stating, "He was requested to go to the motel specified by the whistleblower, and he went to the motel to find a place to sleep while heavily intoxicated, and the woman, having nowhere else to go, inevitably accompanied him."
Meanwhile, a post Yang Hong-won made following his wedding, which featured wedding photos and the text, " Hyun-joo, I love you. I still feel like I'm walking into the Cheonho-dong motel," has since been deleted, leaving only the photos.
