On this day, Jin posted photos on social media of herself sitting in a hospital lobby wearing patient clothes while pulling an IV stand, as well as photos of herself lying in a hospital bed, with the caption, "So, this is my sudden Doctor-X plot."

Jin explained, "After eating dinner as usual, I suddenly had a squeezing pain in my stomach, and my abdomen swelled as if it were going to burst." She added, "I had an experience I can never have again, moving between three emergency rooms within two days." She further shared that she is continuing treatment, stating, "It is the fifth day of fasting, without even a single drop of water." A discharge date has not been determined.

"I don't know when I will go home yet, but when I think about it, it seems like everything happens when the timing is right," she said, adding, "I have reached a state of nirvana in life, just letting things flow." She also noted that she felt a little better today and shared the news, mentioning that when her husband asked what she wanted to eat, she replied pizza, and he promised to buy her a hundred pizzas once she is discharged.

Jin married professional golfer Jin Jeong-sik in 2010 and has been living in a detached house she built on Jeju Island since 2017.
