ZEROBASEONE's SEOK MATTHEW and Park Gunwook form unit EMP... Mixtape to be released on the 21st

The first unit 'ZEROBASEONE EMP', formed by members SEOK MATTHEW and Park Gunwook of the group ZEROBASEONE, announces the beginning of their full-scale activities. According to media reports, they will meet fans by releasing their first mixtape, 'EMP Mixtape Vol.1: We the Extra', at 6 PM on September 21.

The unit name was inspired by the Electro Magnetic Pulse. It contains the ambition to create a space where only the music of the two exists, just as all surrounding sounds are blocked the moment an Electro Magnetic Pulse occurs. This album, in which SEOK MATTHEW and Park Gunwook directly participated in producing, is composed based on the hip-hop genre.

The album includes a total of 4 songs, including the double title tracks 'EMP' and 'Pina C', as well as 'Woofer' and 'In your rain'. The title track 'EMP', which shares the same name as the unit, is a song that reflects their lives, expressing the will to prove themselves and overcome limits through intense sound and rap, harmonizing hip-hop and pop.

The other title track, 'Pina C', unfolds around a Moombahton rhythm. It is characterized by a languid atmosphere reminiscent of time spent at the beach.
