Cha Seung-won, Ra Mi-ran, Park Hyung-sik, Baek Yoon-sik, and Zhang Lu will star in the movie ‘Family Force’, directed by Won Shin-yun. The film, which began filming last September, follows a family of Marines caught in an unexpected terrorist incident.
According to media reports, Cha Seung-won, Ra Mi-ran, Park Hyung-sik, Baek Yoon-sik, and Zhang Lu will appear in the movie ‘Family Force’. The direction is handled by director Won Shin-yun, who made ‘The Battle: Roar to Victory’, ‘Memoir of a Murderer’, ‘The Suspect’, ‘Seven Days’, and ‘A Bloody Aria’.
Cha Seung-won plays the role of Cheol-du, a former Marine Master Sergeant who takes "Once a Marine, always a Marine" as his family motto. Ra Mi-ran plays Ye-bun, the spiritual pillar of three generations of Marines and Cheol-du's wife.
Park Hyung-sik portrays Cheol-hun, the couple's son and a Sergeant in the Marine Corps Special Reconnaissance Unit. He is a character who gets caught up in an unexpected terrorist incident during his end-of-service leave, and this marks Park Hyung-sik's return to the screen after about 7 years.
Baek Yoon-sik has taken the role of Cheol-seong, the eldest among the three generations of Marines. He is a veteran from the 1st class of the Marine Corps and a recipient of a medal for military service. Zhang Lu plays Tae-in, who carries out a mysterious terror attack alongside multinational terrorists at a large hospital in Seoul.
Director Won expressed her thoughts upon the start of filming, saying, "As much as we have prepared with great effort for a long time, we will present a high-quality work together with wonderful actors and staff." ‘Family Force’ began filming last September and is currently in production.
