A new allegation has emerged surrounding actress Cha Ye-ryun. According to reports from multiple media outlets and online communities on November 5, a witness account surfaced claiming that approximately 17 years ago at a hair salon in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, Cha Ye-ryun acted irritably and mistreated staff members. This marks the third disclosure following allegations of school violence and misconduct at a golf course.

A netizen, referred to as A, who claimed to have used the same hair salon at the time, asserted, "After getting my hair washed, the staff were drying my hair, but she suddenly became annoyed and irritable, snatched the hair dryer, and dried her own hair herself." A also stated, "In my eyes, it appeared as though she was ignoring the staff or treating them like emotional trash cans."

An individual, B, who claimed to have worked at the hair salon in question, wrote in a comment, "It was standard for her to suddenly get annoyed and snatch the hair dryer," adding, "I was emotionally hurt at a young age, though I thought she became a kind person after she got married." Another witness who claimed to have seen Cha Ye-ryun at the same location during a similar period shared, "I remember thinking, 'If she is going to do her own hair, why even come to a hair salon?'"

Previously, on October 28, a post titled "Please stop acting, female actress born in '85 who is a perpetrator of school violence" was posted on an online community. The author claimed to have been a victim of continuous school violence by a female actress during middle school. As speculation arose that this actress was Cha Ye-ryun, her agency, HB Entertainment, denied the allegations, stating they are "groundless." As of November 2, the post was subject to temporary measures and access was restricted in accordance with Article 44-2 of the Information and Communications Network Act; however, this procedure does not confirm the truth of the claims, and the facts regarding the raised allegations have not yet been verified.
