The hip-hop duo Deux is releasing their fourth studio album after 31 years, featuring the voice of the late Kim Sung-jae restored through AI technology.
The hip-hop duo Deux will release their fourth studio album featuring AI-restored vocals of the late Kim Sung-jae, with a pre-listening party scheduled for September 7 at the Bolero Club in Itaewon. Limited edition 12-inch LPs in black and red are now available for pre-order.
Deux is set to release their fourth studio album for the first time in 31 years. The release is drawing significant attention as D.O personally produced all tracks, utilizing artificial intelligence technology to restore the voice of the late Kim Sung-jae.
Pre-orders for a limited edition 12-inch LP have commenced, which will be produced in two colors: black and red. The gatefold package will include lyric sheets and an inner sleeve, and production will be limited based on the number of orders.
The ‘Deux Fourth Album Pre-Listening Party’ will be held at the Bolero Club in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at 5:30 PM on September 7. The hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo will perform a celebratory stage to add to the excitement of the event.
Invitations to the listening party will be extended to vinyl purchasers on a first-come, first-served basis, with the first 100 people receiving a limited edition commemorative hoodie. The event is for adults only, and no tickets will be sold at the venue.
According to media reports, an album industry official stated, “It will be a meaningful gift for the fans who have not forgotten Deux and have waited for a long time, connecting past memories with present music.”
