Singer Kim Jong-seo is set to perform one of his representative songs from 1998 again after 28 years. According to his agency, Red Black Entertainment, Kim Jong-seo will release the new single "You Will Shine" through major online music sites at 6:00 PM on the 3rd.
This single is a reinterpretation of "Start Again," a track from the full-length album "Seize" released in 1998. The song, which originally offered comfort and courage to a public struggling with the foreign exchange crisis at the time of its release, has been newly refined as a message for today's youth.
While preserving the unique framework of the original song, the arrangement has been reorganized and parts of the lyrics have been polished to add more weight to its message of comfort. The song title was also adjusted to "You Will Shine" to convey intuitive encouragement.
Along with the new release, a year-end performance is also being prepared. Kim Jong-seo will take the stage for a Christmas concert on December 25 at Mary Hall, Sogang University, in Mapo-gu, Seoul, with detailed information such as the reservation schedule to be announced at a later date.
