emart is holding "Wine Grab Festa," an offline event to experience wine and whisky, in collaboration with Hyundai Card. The event will take place for three days from Friday, 10/16, to Sunday, 10/18, and pre-reservations for participation begin on Friday, 10/2.
This event is a combination of emart Wine Grab's expertise in alcoholic beverages and Hyundai Card's capabilities in operating brand spaces. On-site, visitors can taste more than 30 types of wine and whisky, and talk concerts, performances, and participatory events are also prepared. Within the industry, this is being interpreted as an attempt to expand brand experience, as it is an event that emphasizes experiential elements beyond a simple tasting session.
The performance program includes jazz artist Luka Minor, DJ Jeonja Man, composer Kim Hyung-seok, and singer Hanhae. Busking performances are also scheduled. Pre-reservations can be applied for through a banner on the Emart app, where users select the date, time, and number of people. The reservation period is divided into the 1st round from Friday, 10/2 to Monday, 10/5, and the 2nd round from Wednesday, 10/7 to Wednesday, 10/14.
The event will be held at the Hyundai Card COOKING LIBRARY near Dosan Park in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul. emart has been operating alcoholic beverage ordering and in-store pickup through Wine Grab, and has expanded its service scope since its renewal last November. Sales up to last August increased approximately three times compared to the previous year, and the cumulative number of users this year exceeded 600,000 as of the end of September. The number of users in their 20s also increased by 1.5 times. Through this event, emart plans to expand the experiential touchpoints of Wine Grab and strengthen the customer experience.
