Director Hirokazu Kore-eda and Cast Confirmed to Visit Korea for 'Look Back'... Seoul Event in October

The distributor MEGABOX JOONGANG announced that the main stars of the film 'Look Back' will hold events in Korea in Seoul for three days from October 8 to 10. This schedule is linked to a visit to Busan following an official invitation to the Gala Presentation section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival, and director Hirokazu Kore-eda, along with Natsuki Deguchi, who plays Fujino, and Aju Makita, who plays Kyomoto, are scheduled to communicate directly with Korean audiences.

'Look Back' is a work that captures the poignant four seasons of two girls who became each other's world, and it is the first live-action adaptation of the manga of the same name by author Tatsuki Fujimoto, who is famous for the manga 'Chainsaw Man'. This is the first time that the original author's work has been produced as a live-action film. Director Hirokazu Kore-eda, who was in charge of directing, screenwriting, and editing, debuted in 1995 with 'Maborosi' and won a Golden Osella at the Venice Film Festival, and in 2018, he clinched the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival with 'Shoplifters'.
