Hoshino Resorts RISONARE introduces three family travel destinations within approximately 2 hours

The Hoshino Resorts Group has introduced three facilities under the RISONARE brand targeting family travelers. A key feature is the composition designed so that both children and families can enjoy themselves against the backdrop of nature. The brand promotes ‘PLAY HARD’, which means experiencing something with deep immersion.

The locations introduced this time are RISONARE Nasu, RISONARE Kohamajima, and RISONARE Shimonoseki. All are suggested as family travel destinations tailored for short holidays in October, reachable within approximately 2 hours from Incheon. It is notable that they capture different landscapes, such as farms, islands, and strait cities, moving away from urban-style travel. Compared to the short travel time, the quality of the stay experience is distinct, suggesting that the presence of such destinations will grow even more during periods when holidays are not long.

RISONARE Nasu was introduced as Japan's first agritourism resort. It operates 'Farmer's Lessons' where guests follow field preparation, sowing, and harvesting at the Agri Garden, and also provides programs where children wear chef outfits to make desserts. Poko Poko Plaza features a play area with net play equipment and a ball pit, and is equipped with convenience spaces and nursery services for infants and toddlers.

RISONARE Kohamajima is a resort located on a remote island at the southern tip of Okinawa, featuring a sea surrounded by coral reefs. The structure, consisting of 60 suites and independent villas, 2 infinity pools, and 5 restaurants, completes the stay on the island. It also operates premium snorkeling tours, sea canoeing, twilight canoeing, and family-unit SUP tours.

RISONARE Shimonoseki is the 8th RISONARE facility, which opened in December 2025. Set against the backdrop of the Kanmon Strait, it was announced that this location has been named among the world's best places for 2026. During the day, it offers programs to learn about the strait, and at night, it provides pufferfish storytelling time in connection with Kaikyokan. To allow for separate movements for children and adults while the family stays together, infinity pools, saunas, and outdoor bathing spaces have also been arranged.
