Another joy of the festival: diverse events and food

Jarasum Jazz is filled with various things to enjoy, including food and events, alongside music from world-class artists.

Kopiko and Bouchard, sponsors of this year's Jarasum Jazz, will hold events at the festival site to give coffee candy and Napolitan chocolate to audiences. They plan to gift sweet energy to spectators enjoying jazz from the morning until late at night.

KB Insurance, which has sponsored the festival for 22 years since 2005, will set up relaxation zones and photo zones on Jaraseom Island. As Jarasum Jazz is a festival where entry with pets is allowed, KB Insurance will also operate a family photo studio for spectators accompanied by pets. Audiences selected through prior SNS events or on-site drawings can have professional photographers take family photos with their pets.

Papa Johns, participating as a sponsor for the 14th year this year, will sell freshly baked 'John's Favorite' from a pizza truck. In addition, they will also hold online ticket events.

At Jazz Island, the central stage of the festival, Nate Smith, Tigran Hamasyan, Takuya Kuroda, and others will perform. In the 'France Focus' prepared to mark the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France, French artists including Wakan and Camille Bertault will participate.

In the 'Jazz AI Lounge' presented this year, jazz artists and AI will perform together. This stage was prepared as part of KOCCA's '2026 New Technology Convergence Music Content Development Support' project. Yamaha Music Korea, which has sponsored the festival for 9 years, is supporting this stage with the automatic playing piano 'Disklavier'. The Disklavier produces the performances generated by AI as actual piano sounds, completing a stage where artists and AI perform in concert.

A jazz festival to enjoy until late at night, free performances throughout Gapyeong-eup

During the festival period, the free performance program 'Jazz Festival in Gapyeong' will be held throughout Gapyeong-eup. Performances will take place at the 'Party Stage' in Jatgoeul Square, 'Jazz Street' in front of Heungnong Seed on Orinamustreet, and 'Jazz Station' at Music Station 1939. At the 'Midnight Jazz Cafe', one can enjoy jazz late into the night.

Festival tickets can be pre-booked on YES24. Elementary school students can enter for free, and middle and high school students receive a 50% discount. Introduction to Jarasum Youth Jazz Center

Since its first hosting in 2004, the Jarasum Youth Jazz Center has been organizing and managing South Korea's representative jazz festival for three days every October. The Jarasum Jazz Festival takes place around Jaraseom Island in Gapyeong-gun, which possesses beautiful natural environments, and has been branded as a festival with over 20 years of history featuring top-tier jazz artists from around the world and domestic jazz artists.
