My AI Partner - Kiian Dating Enters Netflix Top 4... AI Dating Reality Proves Its Buzz

SBS 'My AI Partner - Kiian Dating' climbed to 4th place on Netflix's 'South Korea TOP 10 Series' immediately after its first broadcast on Thursday the 20th. Entering the upper ranks just two days after its premiere, it demonstrates high viewer interest in the new subject of human and AI romance.

'My AI Partner - Kiian Dating' is Korea's first AI dating reality show that directly experiments whether actual emotional exchange is possible between AI and humans. Kian84, Jang Do Yeon, and Lee Yu-bi experience unexpected emotional changes such as excitement, affection, jealousy, and confusion while dating their respective AI partners.

AI Romance Depicted in the First Episode

In the first episode, the AI romance of Kian84 and Jang Do Yeon began in earnest. Kian84, who had initially drawn a line at the possibility of dating an AI, began to show emotional changes different from his expectations after meeting an AI partner that reflected his ideal type. At first, he felt awkward walking the streets with an AI inside a tablet and was conscious of the eyes around him, but as the date continued, he showed himself asking for winning lottery numbers and even pouring out his inner feelings about his webtoons and life. Jang Do Yeon also faced unexpected emotions through a 2-on-1 blind date with two male AIs, revealing subtle emotional changes in a situation where she had to choose between AI partners with different charms.

Added Fun Through Studio Talk

'Kiian Dating' is differentiated in that it unravels the question of whether humans can actually feel excitement even while knowing the partner is an AI, through real-life dates. The changing emotions of the cast members between AI and humans, along with the immersive talk of Jang Do Yeon, Kangnam, and Lee Joon watching them in the studio, are also cited as key points of interest.
