The SBS program 'The Listen: The Season We Stayed' will continue its musical journey in Yangsan City, Gyeongsangnam-do, a location known for its beautiful natural scenery and long history, in an episode airing Wednesday, October 28 at 10:50 PM. The cast includes Lee Young-hyun, Tei, Lee Seung-gi, SUHO (EXO), YUJU, Kim Hee-jae, and Lee Ye-ji.
Visiting Yangsan, which is known as a major center for layer hens in the Yeongnam region, the members will participate in a food tour featuring special egg cookies. They will also take on a mission called 'Al-kku' to decorate eggs to give to the audience. Before the decorating begins, a fierce competition will unfold as they attempt to secure eggs through various games. Lee Young-hyun reportedly showed her competitive side by admitting to having "clumsy hands" when things did not go her way, while Lee Seung-gi surprised the group with his seasoned gameplay, showcasing a side of himself 180 degrees different from his charismatic stage persona.
At Yangsan Youth Street, designated as the first busking culture specialized street in Gyeongsangnam-do, an unexpected meeting will occur. Tei will make a surprise appearance at the street where many young people pursue their musical dreams. Moved by the passion of a teenage aspiring singer performing on the street, Tei will join the stage for a special duet. The young singer was reportedly so shocked by Tei's sudden appearance that they froze and trembled.
The main busking performances will take place at Hwangsan Park, featuring the beautiful scenery and sunset of the Nakdonggang River. Lee Seung-gi will perform "You Don't Know Men," while YUJU will deliver a soulful rendition of "Lalala," originally by Lee Soo-young; YUJU's version is scheduled for official digital release on November 8. Kim Hee-jae, performing as "Balladeer Hee," will add romance to the autumn night with a medium-tempo ballad, "We, on a Summer Night," originally by Standing Egg, which is set to be released on November 11.
The excitement will intensify with Lee Young-hyun's performance of her hit song "Resignation." Following her passionate singing, the audience provided an overwhelming response, leaving Lee Young-hyun momentarily speechless with emotion.
Special collaborative stages unique to 'The Listen' will also be showcased, including Lee Young-hyun and Lee Seung-gi in "Heavenly Fate," Tei and YUJU in "Limit," SUHO and Lee Ye-ji in "TOMBOY," and YUJU and Lee Ye-ji in "Still With You." Upon watching the performance by Lee Young-hyun and Lee Seung-gi, the youngest member, Lee Ye-ji, provided a humorous comment, stating it sounded like "voices destined by heaven." Additionally, the four men will perform a group song titled "It's a Big Deal," which is expected to draw cheers from the site.
SUHO has been selected for the hidden mission "Destiny Busking." Despite being a veteran artist of 15 years who usually appears relaxed on stage, SUHO will face a situation where he must manage both his singing and the mission, leading him to rush toward the audience during his performance.
The program also releases official digital versions of the performed songs. Following the group song "It's a Big Deal," individual solo tracks are being released sequentially. Recently, Sin Ye-young's "It Was Because I Didn't Love You" and Lee Ye-joon's "180 Degrees" reached the top of the YouTube Music trending charts. Tei's "Is it still beautiful?" is scheduled for digital release on the afternoon of the 28th following strong online and offline responses, and the female group song "Even Though I Hate You, I Love You" is set for official release on November 5.
