The global K-pop chart KM Chart has revealed the candidate lineup to select the protagonists who shined in K-music throughout the month of September 2026. This voting will take place until the 24th, and fierce competition is expected to unfold across a total of six categories, including digital music, artists, popularity, and rookies.

In the K-MUSIC digital music category, 50 songs were listed, including BTS's 'SWIM', BigBang's 'BiiiG', Girls' Generation-Hyorisu's 'Skibidi', Lee Chan-won's 'Today for Some Reason', and Lim Young-woong's 'Totto'. In the artist category, 30 teams, including RIIZE, Blackpink, Aespa, and Young Tak, were selected as candidates, and many artists will compete in the male and female popularity categories as well as the rookie category.

Voting can be participated in through the official apps 'My1Pick' and 'Idol Champ'. The final rankings will be determined by combining 50% of the vote results from the two apps, then integrating fan votes, judge evaluations, and data scores.
