MBC 'I Live Alone' Production Team Issues Official Apology Regarding Jun Hyun-moo's Kazakhstan Travel Controversy

The production team of the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone' released an official statement on September 4 regarding the controversy that has arisen concerning entertainer Jun Hyun-moo's Kazakhstan travel episode. The production team bowed their heads for causing confusion to viewers due to the inability to disclose all detailed processes owing to the nature of reality programs.

The production team explained that they had issued staff flight tickets in advance and requested local filming cooperation in preparation for the possibility of Jun Hyun-moo's travel destination being decided as Kazakhstan. Furthermore, they admitted to receiving administrative procedures and filming support from the Almaty City Tourism Bureau, clarifying that the previously mentioned 'no support' meant there was no monetary sponsorship or production cost support.

They also admitted to the production team's negligence regarding the issue of insufficient documentation that occurred during the car rental process. The production team stated that they had failed to carefully check local regulations beforehand, which require notarization from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Korea when renting a vehicle within Kazakhstan. They expressed their position to re-examine their future production methods and attitude from The Starting Point.
